Overview: Soar through the skies…in a hot air balloon! In Hot Air you take the position of a hot air balloon traveling to unimaginable heights while dodging sharp objects flying down at you such as pins or darts by using your device’s accelerometer (tilt control). You must keep your finger pressed down on the screen to have the balloon fly up but don’t go to high or you won’t be able to see obstacles coming done. Lift you finger off the screen if you feel you are going too high but make sure not to leave it off for too long or you will fall to your death.
Features: This game features good graphics as well as a nice casual paper background to match with everything else as well as different drawings, objects coming at you, and the feel of the game. It has a entertaining sounds track and a high score chart. It has the ability to post your score to twitter and facebook as well.
Pros: This was a very fun game and to my knowledge it is the first of its kind. It was a lot of fun and kept getting more challenging as I progressed. It didn’t get boring at all and I will keep playing it for awhile. It is simple to learn the controls and isn’t anything fancy.
Cons: There isn’t much wrong with this app at all. Some people might just not like this but I surely did. People might complain about the simplistic theme but I honestly didn’t have any problems with it.
Conclusion: For only a dollar this app is worth the entertainment it offers. There isn’t anything wrong with it unless you don’t like these type of games. This app certainly has a lot of potential and I am sure it will soon become very successful.
